Outpatient Program

Our treatment program is available to adults at least 18 years of age and older. A client’s length of stay is a minimum of 30 days. However, the length of stay is dependent on client needs, as determined by the clinical team and client. Oftentimes, clients choose to stay longer than 30 days, as they find that continuing to work on mental health and relapse prevention strategies longer than a 30 day stay, increases their likelihood of prolonged sobriety. As of 2018, the longest a client chose to stay at our treatment facility was 9 months without relapse, and said client is still sober and happy, working and living independently.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Clients move through different phases of treatment, starting with our Partial Hospitalization-Day/Night program (PHP). During this first phase of treatment, clients attend 30 hours of group therapy per week with 4 groups, daily, Monday through Saturday, in addition to 1 hour or more of individual and family therapy per week. We encourage clients to include their families and loved ones in their treatment process, as we believe that healthy family involvement and support increases likelihood of sustained sobriety. During the PHP and first phase of treatment, we encourage clients to start job search, so that they are able to prepare for the second phase of treatment and begin the employment process. Some clients choose to participate in volunteer work, and we encourage this, as well.

During the second phase of treatment, clients transfer to the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) where they attend a maximum of 18 hours and minimum of 9 hours of group therapy per week, attending 2 groups per day with continued individual and family therapy at one hour or more per week. Clients are expected to start work at this phase of treatment, while continuing to attend treatment and work on their pre-identified pathways to recovery. Clients attend morning group from 9 am to 12 pm, and they have a curfew of 9 pm at community housing, but curfews can be extended for clients who have verified work schedules past 9 pm; this must be approved by the clinical and housing team. Clients may use personal mobile phones off property. Clients are helped with learning the bus transit system, in order to move to and from work. Clients are allowed to bring their cars or scooters, but this must be approved, prior to doing so.

Outpatient Program

After clients have completed the PHP and IOP phases of treatment, they step down to the Outpatient (OP) level of care in which clients attend a maximum of 6 hours and a minimum of 3 hours of group therapy per week while continuing individual and family therapy. We encourage the step-down process, as it is important for clients to slowly reenter back into society without feeling a sense of shock and fear that would only cause our clients to be at continued risk for relapse. We create a safe and healthy environment for clients to reenter society at their own pace.
