All clients admitted to treatment receive a case management assessment.
We find that it is difficult for individuals to focus on recovery, if their outside needs are not met, and thus, we encourage clients to meet with the case manager, as needed, following the case management needs assessment to address issues, including, but not limited to, legal, custody, identification, financial, budgeting, clothing, FMLA, EAP, food, medical, dental, vision, disability, employment, job search, resume building, schooling, financial assistance, vocational rehabilitation, childcare, pet care, and aftercare plan issues.
We understand that many people require help addressing outside issues, in order to better their care, while in treatment. Oftentimes, letters are sent at the request of individuals to help in general matters in need of being addressed, while clients are in treatment, such as with employment, court dates, and other situations. Each client has different needs that need to be addressed. We are sympathetic to these needs, and we take a proactive approach in ensuring that these needs are met. We encourage some clients to attend support groups or classes outside of treatment when ready, groups/classes including, but not limited to, social skills training, grief support groups, domestic violence classes, DUI classes, and transgender support groups.
